The reframe that transformed my business.

 💭 It’s easier to stay where you are than start again. 

💭 Rebranding is too overwhelming to bother even thinking about.

💭 It would be far too much work to change over all your marketing assets.

Sound familiar? I got caught in that trap too.

When I first came back to my business after having my babies, I had a really clear vision of what I wanted to do. ✨ Branding for flourishing female entrepreneurs. ✨ Just the thought of it made my heart skip a beat. But I got in my head about it. Told myself I'd never get enough business if I niched that far.

So I played it safe and named my new brand Hopscotch Graphic Design. I knew what I wanted to do, but I was scared to niche. And even though my heart was leading me in a clear direction, I tried to be everything to everyone (again 🙄 - I'll share that story another time). I sold art prints to gain momentum, and my logo… well, let’s just say it didn’t exactly speak to the kind of work I wanted to be known for.

Deep down, I knew it wasn’t aligned. It didn’t reflect the depth or purpose behind what I was creating.

After about a year, that quiet nudge became impossible to ignore. I had to be brave enough to evolve. So, I did the work, and Hopscotch Branding Studio was (finally!) born. *cue angelic choir singing* 😇

Every word of that name was chosen with heart and intention:

  • Hopscotch brings to mind playfulness and creativity. It speaks to the feeling I want every client to experience when we bring their vision to life.
  • Branding speaks clearly to what I do and who I serve. No more ambiguity, no more trying to please everyone.
  • Studio evokes intimacy, creativity, and a boutique touch. It implies a space where each project is nurtured with care, because it is.

That shift changed everything. Not just how my brand looked, but how I felt showing up in it. Suddenly, my business wasn’t something I had to explain; it was something I felt deeply connected to. The right people started finding me, and I found myself doing work that truly lit me up.

So let's reframe. ✨ Rebranding isn't a burden. It's an opportunity. ✨

An opportunity to reach more of your ideal clients. To refine what’s already working. To realign your business with where your heart truly wants to go. 💖
