Ep 49. The fear of success

Recently a student inside my brand foundation course, Brand Alchemy expressed her fear of success.

“What if my business is busier than I can handle?”

“What if I can’t handle fast growth?”

“How am I going to cope if I have too many clients?”

Whilst a lot of us can understand the very real worry associated with not having ANY clients or customers come through our doors, the fear of success is equally real. I’ve heard it expressed many times by my clients and students. Not from a place of cockiness or arrogance, but from a humble place of, “what if I can’t serve these people in the way they deserve?.”

Lovely, starting a business is bound to bring forth many demons you weren’t expecting to face; fears you never knew existed within you.
